[compsoc-announce] Week 1: Pubmeet, and OGN6

Hello everyone - hope you had a good vac.

This week we have one and a half events - the half is an event we don't
actually run, but encourage attendance of!



Pubmeet
=======

 Wednesday 23rd April, 20:00
 Turf Tavern

A chance to get together and see what's happened to other Compsoccers
over the vacation,
and make bad jokes about the impending exam doom.



Oxford Geek Night 6
===================
 Tuesday 22nd April, 19:30
 Jericho Tavern

The Oxford Geek Night isn't a Compsoc event, but is still worth attending;
the event consists of two 15 minute 'keynote' talks, followed by
several microslots (normally around 5 minutes each).

The event runs at a reasonably relaxed pace, and there's plenty of chance to
get a drink from the upstairs bar (note that the whole event is upstairs -
don't get confused by the JT looking perfectly normal downstairs that day).

We're still in the process of drawing up this term's termcard,
so don't entirely trust the website's rather empty termcard just yet.

Remember, if you'd like us to have a particular computing area or company
over to talk, just tell us, and we'll see if we can get them along!
