First up, Facebook are hosting a Workshop with us This Tuesday ahead of their First London Hackathon:

Save the dates- You're invited to attend Facebook's first annual London Hackathon!

Who: You & up to 3 teammates
What: Hacking all night/ free food/ prizes/ trip to FB HQ in Menlo Park California for the winning team!
When: Friday April 27th (5pm)- Saturday April 28th (5pm) 
Where: Facebook London Office- Facebook London, 42 Earlham Street, Covent Garden, WC2H, London

Facebook Pre-Hackathon Workshop

Tuesday 23rd April, 18:30
Department Of Computer Science - Lecture Theatre A

This event is a Workshop ahead of the First Annual London Hackathon that facebook will be hosting on 27th April. This is a 24hour event, starting at 5pm with free food, prizes and travel to london. Facebook London Pre-Hackathon Workshop

Come by our workshop to prepare yourself & your team for the London Hackathon! Feel free to come by for one or both of the workshops. We'll have some of our Facebook engineers on hand to help answer all of your questions and set you up for success. Bring your computer & your teammates- these will be interactive sessions!

6:30-7:30pm

Location: Oxford University - Department of Computer Science - Lecture Theatre A 
Workshop 1: Building a Website: In this session we'll go over the basics of building a website: html, javascript, php, apache, & more.

7:30-8:30pm

Location: Oxford University - Department of Computer Science - Lecture Theatre A 
Workshop 2: Building on the Facebook Platform: In this session we'll go over how to build on the Facebook platform & teach you how to build social.
