Hello everyone,
This week, we have the TGM, that termly dose of voting and peering at
the committee. It's in the Big Bang [1] at 7:30pm, on Thursday (22 May)
- if you're probably going to come, it would be nice if you could email
me so we can at least warn the poor people about the impending geek deluge.
That will round off our events for the term, since the next three weeks
are filled with things like exams (and other horrible creations dreamt
up by various teaching members of the University) for some of us. We'll
be back in Michaelmas, with a strong events calendar and, hopefully, a
bout of new freshers.
If you have any people or subjects you'd like to see at a talk next
term, email me your suggestions and we'll barrage the appropriate people
with emails until they give in and come down here.
If I don't see you this Thursday, then have a good vac, and see you next
term! (That is, if you're not off into the Real World, having stumbled
out of Oxford clutching a degree...)
Andrew
