Our next social event this term is our Mini Hackathon, which will be done on Zoom in collaboration with the Oxford Women in Computer Science Society (OxWoCS)! Note that this event starts at 5pm, you’ll be given from 6pm to midnight to create a project based on a theme, with prizes to be won! We also have a talk from Bloomberg tomorrow titled “Hashing Uncovered”, note that you need to fill out a quick registration for this event here to take part. We also have messages about opportunities from Cisco and Google this week so check those out below.

We’re excited to announce that our 2021 Internship and Scholarship programs are now open for applications!

Internships:

We offer three paid internship programs for students in Europe, Middle East and Africa graduating after August 2021. The STEP - Student Trainee in Engineering Program is a developmental opportunity for students who will have completed their first or second year of their Bachelor’s degree by August 2021. Our Software Engineering / Site Reliability Engineering internships are for all university students who will be returning to studies after August 2021 and our PhD Internship for students currently enrolled in a PhD program. All of these internships are now open for applications:
