Thank you so much to everyone who came to the board game night on Saturday - it was great to see all of you there! This Saturday sees the return of Movie Night, which is sure to be just as much fun.

We are pleased to announce that The Oxford Invariants, the Oxford University student mathematics society, aims to re-launch its magazine called The Invariant. We are looking for prospective editors (and designers) to join our team.
The role generally entails announcing a call for articles, reviewing submissions for scientific and grammatical accuracy, communicating with authors, proofreading, production/publishing, and finally distribution of the published edition. This is not to intimidate you. The workload is spread over a year and you will be working with like-minded people passionate about mathematics, scientific writing and publishing.

Oxford Hack is the official student hackathon held every year in late November (check out last year’s website for more info: https://oxfordhack.co.uk/)
With that in mind, we are now recruiting for executive roles! Whether you enjoy working in a team to create an amazing event or would simply like an extra thing on your CV, this is the perfect opportunity. For more information, check the Executive Roles descriptions here.
Besides the tasks in the role description, you would also commit to a few committee meetings starting later this term (not more than one hour a week).
