As exams are now starting for most of our members we will only be running Geek Nights for the remainder of term, the next of which will be on Saturday.

Our seventh Geek Night of Trinity, with our usual selection of food, drinks, games, chatting and coding. We would love to see some new faces, so please do feel free to come along. Open to all members and anyone interested in joining.
This Thursday, the Oxford Union will be holding a debate on the motion “This House Believes Technology Companies Should Prevent Government Access to Consumers' Data.” The motion is a very topical one given the recent case between Apple and the FBI as well as the Investigatory Powers Bill in Parliament. The speaker lineup is superb. It includes Matthew Olsen, the former Director of the US National Counterterrorism Center, and Denelle Dixon-Thayer, the Chief Legal and Business Officer of Mozilla. It is with great pleasure that I invite all of you, whether a Union member or not, to come hear the debate at 8:30pm.
