Our friends at the Oxford AI Safety Initiative bring to you a promising (and timely) talk this Friday... all about language models! From 6:30pm, Google DeepMind's Head of Mechanistic Interpretability Neel Nanda will be discussing what we do and don't understand about what goes on inside language models. Afterwards, you can enjoy your fair share of free pizza.

Speaker Bio: Neel runs the mechanistic interpretability team at Google DeepMind. Prior to this, he was an independent researcher, and did mechanistic interpretability research at Anthropic under Chris Olah. Neel is excited about helping build the mechanistic interpretability community and created the TransformerLens library, does far too much mentoring, and enjoys making educational materials.
