RBS
TECHNOLOGY (MARKETS AND INTERNATIONAL BANKING) PROGRAMME
– SUMMER INTERNSHIP
In today’s world, technology plays
an ever greater part in our lives. This is why it’s so
important to us at RBS as we strive to provide the very
best technological infrastructure and state-of-the-art
tools that support and drive our Markets and International
Banking businesses. As a summer intern, you’ll be part of
the talented teams that design, build and maintain our
business-critical in-house systems.
About the programme
Join the Technology (Markets and
International Banking) Summer Intern Programme in London and you'll join a one
of our diverse front and back office technology teams. This
will give you a broad understanding of financial markets,
projects and product styles so, whether you’re developing or
supporting an application, you’ll use the latest programming
languages and technologies to create, integrate and deliver
solutions that are helping us to keep one step ahead of the
competition and exceeding our clients’ expectations.
About you
We’re not expecting you to have
advanced technical skills just yet, but to meet the demands
of the role you will need a keen interest and strong
aptitude for both finance and technology. Many of our
interns have degrees in engineering, mathematics, economics,
computing and sciences yet if you can display a high level
of numeracy and strong analytical skills – and you’re
passionate about the programme – we’d like to hear from you.
About the bank you build
As far as global financial services
groups go, we’re big. However as big as we are, we always
strive to be better – for our customers, the community and
our people. It’s the fresh ideas you bring and the
personality you show which will challenge our business for
the better. And developing your skills, you’ll help us to
become an even stronger bank. In return, we’ll give you
early responsibility, exceptional training and all the tools
you need to help you fulfil your potential.
How to apply
The decisions you drive will help to shape our business. If you’ve done your research, considered your options and are ready for a challenge, then we want to hear from you. We’re recruiting on a first come, first served basis with assessments taking place in March and April of this year.
