We are an Oxford-based project creating an ambitious and cutting-edge website for scientific research. We're recruiting people with good experience in web development or design, or mobile app development.

The site, akorn.org, offers users a news feed to watch the latest research, as well as a platform for exchanging research apps. We are supportive of the open access / open science movement, and one goal of the site is to help spark open innovation amongst scientists. Elite Chronicles is a start up, just recently succeeded in an Kickstarter. http://kck.st/UmXwu5 We are carrying out an crowd-writing experiment online to publish a book for Elite:Dangerous. Elite: Dangerous is the latest installment of the Elite series, which was the 1st 3D game, co-created by David Braben, who at the time was a IT student, and later founded the Raspberry Pi project. We are currently looking for some talents to help develop the website for Elite Chronicles. I'd be grateful if you can forward this information to the members of the society, or simply publish it on your website.

1) will need to dedicate lots of time in January & February to get the site online;
