G-Research - Coding Challenge

*Can you engineer cutting edge financial software to compete in global markets?*

Test your coding skills and strategies on our simulated investment platform. Teams of 3 or 4 students will be given a brief overview of the system and then will have an hour to write code to test their strategies on our simulated exchange. After the development time working in C# (syntax available), the final strategies will be run through our exchange in competition with the other teams. Our developers will guide you through the process and show you how we work at G-Research. Each winning team member will receive a *£25 Amazon voucher*.

We will be teaching you the basics of programming using Python http://www.python.org/. These events are good if you have zero coding experience, but they are also valuable if you already have started coding and would like to better your skills. We also welcome people who already have good coding experience as the more volunteers the better!
