One of our sponsors, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, will be hosting
a *URL Riddle* competition with us. This is a game in which teams aim to
solve various riddles by writing small and simple snippets of code.
*
Each riddle is presented as a challenge on a webpage, for which the
solution acts as the URL for the next riddle.
*
Some of the riddles are timed and players must submit an answer to a
randomly generated question within a given timeframe.
*
The game is competitive, and team rankings will be tracked on a
leaderboard.
*
The winning team will receive Amazon gift vouchers.
*Please bring your laptops to this event!*
As per usual, there will be pizza and drinks at this event.

About Learn to Code
During these events, there will be a mixture of interactive workshops
and talks. We will be teaching you the basics of programming
using Python <http://www.python.org/>. These events are good if you have
zero coding experience, but they are also valuable if you already have
started coding and would like to better your skills. We also welcome
people who already have good coding experience as the more volunteers
the better!
These events are always followed by our weekly Geek Night
<http://ox.compsoc.net/events/tags/geek_night/>.
You can find out more information about this series of events over
at

We also have a facebook group for discussion if you are taking part in

...and a group for those who would like to
