Hello All,
It was great to see some new people at Geek Night on Saturday. Our next
event will be Geek Night
<https://www.facebook.com/events/920826684683415/> this Saturday.
Next week (2nd week) we will be running a "Core War" evening. This
programming game pits players against each other building and refining
programs to battle over control of a virtual computer.
No experience needed, but familiarising yourself with the basics
beforehand may be useful. A good beginners guide can be found here
<http://vyznev.net/corewar/guide.html>. Bring your own laptop.
Kind regards,
Matthew

Hello All,
Welcome back, we hope everyone enjoyed the vacation, and wish everyone
good luck for the term ahead.
Due to many of our members having exams this term we will be running
fewer events than normal, but there will still be plenty going on.
We will be kicking off the term with Geek Night 0
<https://www.facebook.com/events/1714898435457598/> this Saturday night,
with more events to be announced soon.
Kind regards,
Matthew
