CompSoc Career Mentoring Scheme

Hey everyone, Would you like to get some practical experience of Software Development for your CV? Or are you looking to get a job or an internship in the future? Then see below for an opportunity to learn and develop your skills! An important part of applying for many tech jobs is previous experience, whether in internships or on personal projects. To help people with less practical experience, we are implementing a mentoring scheme, where mentors can provide advice, and help to build a portfolio of projects, to aid future job applications! We have limited spaces and an application deadline of 12pm on Sunday 28th March, so make sure to apply soon! Week 8 Newsletter: Google Interview Workshop

Week 7 Newsletter: WAN Night and AGM!

Hey everyone, Our next social event this term is WAN Night! We’ll be closing off our year on the committee with a fan favourite, so head to Discord on Saturday for a night of gaming. We’ve also got a technical interview workshop from Google next week. Furthermore, this year’s CompSoc AGM will be happening this Wednesday. Most importantly, we’ll be electing the new committee at this event. Any member of CompSoc, including freshers, is welcome (and encouraged!) to run for a position on the committee.
