Hey everyone,
Our next social event this term is WAN Night! We’ll be closing off our year on the committee with a fan favourite, so head to Discord on Saturday for a night of gaming. We’ve also got a technical interview workshop from Google next week. Importantly, *you’ll need to sign up to this event in advance* so if you’re interested in advice on tackling interviews then see below for details! Furthermore, this year’s CompSoc AGM will be happening this Wednesday. Most importantly, we’ll be electing the new committee at this event. Any member of CompSoc, including freshers, is welcome (and encouraged!) to run for a position on the committee. It’s been a great experience for me and I recommend looking at the roles and seeing which might suit you! More details below. Learn to Code also continues this week on Thursday! Whether you’re keen to learn programming or have experience and want to help others learn, it’s a great opportunity. We’ve also got messages this week from the Oxford University Careers Service, TPP, Citadel and Google so check them out below.
If you aren’t already on the CompSoc Discord, you can *join it here https://discord.gg/RhvsMSn* to take part in social events and keep in touch with other members.
