Think you know your computery stuff? Put your geek/gamer knowledge to the test with the most INTENSE kahoots, handcrafted by Mr Prez himself! Snacks, pizza and edible prizes will be provided...although we all know the real prize is the bragging rights.

Learn to Code Sessions 3/4 (Bring your laptop!)

Join us for the third/fourth sessions of our hugely popular Learn to Code series, aimed at complete beginners! Our amazing coding officers will guide you through learning Python, from the absolute basics to making your very own game by the end of the course. If you've ever wanted to pick up coding, but felt it was hard, frustrating, or just didn't know where to start, this is the perfect event series for you. Non-members and members alike are free to come along! Bring your laptop!!

Got some cool research you'd like to present? A passion project you've been working on? This is YOUR opportunity to share your work with other CompSoc members, and hear from them too! Everyone who would like to present will have 5-10 minutes for a presentation, as well as time for questions. This will be a really fun, fascinating casual event - make sure to sign up if you have something cool to show us, no matter what your level in academia is!

SPECIAL EVENT: Oxford Hack 2022

Oxford Hack is the official Oxford student Hackathon, where over 300 people gather every year to collaborate, innovate, learn and experiment while creating a project from scratch in 24 hours. We give you all the resources you need, from hardware and APIs to workshops, sponsors and volunteers who can help you with whatever questions you might have. In a few words, you attend to have fun, learn things you didn’t even know existed and see your ideas come to life. This year we are back IN-PERSON - for more information about what is going to change, check out the Event section or the FAQs.

Oxford Hackathon Call For Volunteers

We're looking for volunteers to help us with logistics on the day of the event. We will have free food (2 lunches, 1 dinner, and snacks all the way through), and you'll also get to meet our sponsors if you're interested in that. If anyone is interested please DM me!
