Bloomberg Bpuzzled Puzzle Competition

[CompSoc X Freud picture]

Bpuzzled is a 3 hour long competition created by Bloomberg engineers. Teams use problem solving, creative thinking, and teamwork to solve challenging and intricate puzzles that are logical in nature, similar to those found in escape rooms. Each puzzle is themed to a location of a Bloomberg office from around the world; players race from place to place and finally arrive at the final puzzle: New York or London! Top prizes are up for grabs! Join as teams of 3-4, or find a team at the event.

When: Tuesday, 31 January 06.00pm - 09:30pm

Learn To Code HT Series: Web Dev For Beginners

Ever wanted to create your own content on the internet? Come and learn how to build your own pretty and mobile friendly website with HTML, CSS and Bootstrap. Run by Oscar, a second year CS student and experienced dev, this workshop series will be running every Saturday from weeks 2-5.

Saturday Social: MICRO:BIT HACKATHON MKII

Creative? Competitive? Want to polish your coding skills, or just make something cool? Join us for CompSoc's awesome micro:bit hackathon social! It's open to all skill levels - you can get started with just Scratch, Python, or all the way up to hand-compiled Assembly. Micro:bits will be provided. Join a small team and do your best in 3 hours!

We'll give out prizes and merch for the most fun, the most surprising or wacky and the most polished projects! (p.s. members get pizza.)
