Hello All,
We are nearing possibly the most important CompSoc event of the year,
our *AGM*. This is the point where we choose our executive committee for
the next year, who will start in Trinity. Please do come along and vote,
or if you want to be more involved please run for a position. The
positions don't require a lot of work, all you really need is a
commitment to helping the society thrive.
As with all Wednesday events there will be food at the *AGM*.
*Learn To Code* on Thursday will be covering Classes and Object Oriented
Programming in the main group, as well as Functions and Modules in the
second group.
We are holding a *LAN Night* this Friday, you bring your laptop and some
ideas of games you want to play, and we provide the network and food.
*Geek Night* will be on Saturday, join us for games, coding, and pizza.
Next week we have a Tech Talk from Bloomberg on Super-scale Mobile
Applications, and in 8th week we will be joined by HackCampus and some
developers from some of their partnered startups.
We hope that term is going well for everybody, and look forward to
seeing you all at the AGM.
Matthew,
CompSoc Secretary
