Dear all,
Historic Futures<http://historicfutures.com/> is a company that promotes sustainability by making it easier for retailers and consumers to make ethical choices within the supply chain and at the checkout.
The Internship Programme<http://www.careers.ox.ac.uk/internship-office-and-work-experience/the-inter…> has an exciting new internship opportunity open to an Oxford student. The project involves contributing to the design and development of a prototype value chain mapping tool. The opportunity would particularly suit candidates with a strong interest in data and product development, and will also involve the chance to liaise with numerous partner organisations.
The new system will enable leading brands to source more strategically, drive their sustainability programmes and communicate value to customers.
UK and EU PGT students who are selected for this internship may be eligible for an Oxford Postgraduate Internship Awards supported by the Higher Education Funding Council for England, (approx £1,500). See award conditions<http://www.careers.ox.ac.uk/internship-funding>

Hi all,
On Thursday 22nd May at 6pm *David Mack*, YC Alum and co-founder/CTO of
SketchDeck, will be speaking exclusively and candidly about his startup
journey. He’ll be speaking specifically about his past failed ideas, and
why failure and fast iteration are so important at an early stage. David
is back from San Francisco and only in the UK for two weeks so we’re
very pleased to have him. After the talk there will be drinks and the
opportunity for attendees to chat more with David and the EF team to
find out what they should be doing over the summer to get their startup
ideas off the ground.
Here

is the RSVP link and more info attached (N.B. there are very limited
places available for this event).
